RAWHIDE is a brand new project, merging the worlds of art, conflict transformation and healing to reconnect individuals who have experienced interpersonal conflict – or systematic conflict by way of the Criminal Justice, Mental Health and Homelessness systems – back to community. These experiences disproportionately effect Black people, people of colour, Indigenous communities and differently-abled individuals and as such, RAWHIDE is committed to creating safer space for these individuals to participate. To learn more read About the Project.
Currently RAWHIDE is looking for interested members to build the Core Team, as well as members in community to develop working Anti-Oppressive and Accessibility Policies. We are also looking for core participation from Indigenous communities of Turtle Island. If you are interested in learning more or getting involved contact: info@rawhideproject.com or call Melisse at 647-472-7022.
